Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl
This delicious dish is less of an actual recipe, but more of an assembly of beautiful foods that come together for the perfect healthy meal. This spicy tuna poke bowl is better known as a poor man’s poke bowl, because of the use of canned tuna. It’s a great way to get a lot of veggies in, and find a great use for that can of tuna you have had in your pantry for a while. You can use a variety of veggies for this. I chose the following:
What you need to make the spicy tuna poke bowl
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Measuring spoons
Ingredients
- Tomato
- Edamame
- Avocado
- Radish
- Mini Cucumbers
- Green Onions
- Tuna with Mayo
- Sriracha
- Everything But the Bagel Seasoning
How you make your veggie bowl
In a bowl, stir together tuna, mayo and sriracha until well combined.
Chop your veggies and assemble in a bowl. Top with your spicy tuna and garnish with green onions and everything but the bagel seasoning.
Food for thought: You can use any vegetables you would like! What I love about making bowls in general, is that you can get creative and use whatever you have left in your fridge. Add a little spice, and you would be surprised how good a bowl of veggies and protein can be!
Enjoy!
