Sausage, egg and cheese rolls are an awesome, easy breakfast that you can make over the weekend that the kids will love. This semi-home-made recipe is super quick, and they even warm well for eating the next day. Give this sausage, egg and cheese rolls recipe a try!

Start by cooking your eggs. You can find the perfect scrambled eggs recipe here. Be sure to undercook them slightly, as they will cook more when you bake the rolls in the oven. Once your eggs are cooked, set aside and cook the sausage links as directed.

Now it’s time to roll your crescents. Unwrap your crescents and separate them. Layer a slice of cheese, then eggs, followed by a sausage sand roll up. Brush the tops of the rolls with the remaining raw egg from the bowl you mixed your eggs in. This step is optional, but it will make the top of the rolls nice and golden brown. Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.

Remove from oven and let cool. Serve as is, or with dipping sauces or salsa. I like to eat mine with a simple greens salad.

  • 1 Frying Pan
  • 1 Baking Sheet
  • 1 Rubber Spatula
  • 1 Bowl
  • 1 Basting brush Optional.


  • 6 eggs scrambled
  • 1 Pack crescent rolls
  • 8 Slices American cheese
  • 8 sausage links


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    Scramble 6 eggs and set aside. Slightly undercook them, as they will cook the rest of the way in the oven.
    Cook sausages in a frying pan. Set aside.
    Unroll crescent rolls and separate them. Lay a slice of cheese on one crescent, then a small portion of eggs, then the sausage and roll up. Do this with all crescents and lay on a baking sheet. You can line the baking sheet with parchment paper or just spray it with cooking spray.
    With the remaining egg left in the bowl, brush the top of the crescents. This is optional, but will make the rolls nice and golden brown.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
