Protein Chicken Parmesan Pizza
Chicken Parmesan is one of my favorite Italian recipes of all time. I love it, but it can sometimes be messy to make. From breading the chicken to frying it, there is a lot going on! Enter: Protein chicken Parmesan pizza. It’s all the things you love about chicken Parmesan, made so much easier.

Here’s what you’ll need to make it
- Oven safe frying pan I used Hexclad. If you love to cook and haven’t invested in some good cookware, now is the time. And Hexclad has some awesome holiday deals!
- Spatula – I used a silicon spatula. It made it easier to scrape the crispy bottom off the pan.
- Large Bowl – To mix the chicken crust mixture.
- Sheet Pan for easy flipping. I did this, and it makes it a lot easier to flip. It keeps the crust from falling apart.
- Medium Bowl for dressing your greens
- Cheese grater – I used a microplane.

Ingredients & substitutions
- Ground chicken
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Italian bread crumbs
- Egg
- Mixed greens
- Olive oil – You will need this for frying your crust as well as dressing your salad.
- Balsamic vinegar to taste – for your salad.
- Parmesan cheese topping for salad
- Marinara sauce
- Salt to taste

How to make this chicken crust pizza
Step 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2. To a bowl, add ground chicken, bread crumbs, 1 cup mozzarella and an egg. Mix with hands until fully combined.
Step 3. To a pan over medium heat, heat about 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Smash chicken mixture into the pan, creating a pizza crust. Let cook without touching for 3-5 minutes, until the bottom is crispy. Then flip over, and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Let cook for another 2 minutes, and transfer the pan to the oven. Let cook until cheese is melty.
Step 4. While the cheese melts, prep your greens. Top with a little olive oil, balsamic and a pinch of salt and toss.
Step 5. Remove chicken Parmesan from oven and transfer to your serving dish by sliding it out of the pan. Top with your dressed greens and grate fresh Parmesan on top. Cut like a pizza and enjoy!
