Easy Caesar Salad

Have you ever thought about making Caesar dressing at home, only to look up a recipe and see that you need anchovies and egg yolks? Well there is an easier way to get that rich, umami flavor without anchovies. Use Worcestershire sauce! Worcestershire sauce is made with anchovies, which makes it a great alternative ingredient for this easy dressing. Using mayonnaise rather than oil and egg yolks makes this dressing about the easiest it could possibly be. If you are going to try to make any salad dressing, give this easy Caesar salad dressing a try.

Easy Caesar Dressing

As you can probably tell from my blog, I love making my own salad dressing. Most of the time it requires only a jar or blender for equipment, and the main ingredients are largely the same for most dressings. Add spices or herbs, and you can make a whole lot of different dressings. This easy Caesar dressing requires mayonnaise, roasted garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, blended all together. Homemade dressings are so much better than store bought, and it’s easy to get creative! Give making this dressing a try!

Putting the Easy Caesar Salad Together

Roughly chop your romaine and add it to a serving bowl. Grate a generous amount of Parmesan cheese, sprinkle lots of air fryer croutons, and drizzle the dressing. With only a few, simple ingredients, load up on them! Enjoy this easy Caesar salad with family and friends.

Caesar dressing without the anchovies and egg yolks

  • blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Air Fryer for crouton recipe
  • Micro-planer or grater



  • 1 Cup mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 Head roasted garlic can also use raw garlic but only use one clove
  • 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese


  • Air fryer croutons see recipe
  • 1 Block parmesan grated
  • 4 Cups Romaine Lettuce chopped (about one romaine heart)


  • Toss your roasted peeled, roasted garlic, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, Parmesan, salt and pepper into a blender and blend until smooth.
    Chop romaine lettuce and add to a bowl. Grate a generous amount of Parmesan cheese over romaine. Add croutons (please see air fryer crouton recipe.). Toss together and enjoy!
