  • Medjool dates pitted
  • Peanut butter – If you don’t use peanut butter you can also substitute your favorite nut butter.
  • Pepitas – I used pepitas because I always have them on hand, but you can use your favorite nut.
  • Chocolate – I prefer Hu-Kitchen, because it’s so delicious and so clean.

How to make these Date Snickers Bars

  • Pit all of your dates. To a parchment lined pan, smash the dates down and connect them all together. 
  • In a small bowl, add peanut butter and melt for about 10-20 seconds in a microwave. Pour the melted peanut butter on the smashed dates and spread to the edges.
  • Sprinkle your pepitas all over the peanut butter.
  • Melt your chocolate in the microwave. Remove and stir every 10-20 seconds until completely melted. Pour chocolate on the peanut butter and nuts and spread to the edges with a spoon.
  • Refrigerate until firm, and cut into 16 bars.
