Is there a better flavor combination than Parmesan and garlic? Definitely not. The only thing that makes this combo better is adding those flavors to tender potatoes. This parmesan potato recipe is a winner. I made this for my family, and it had my dad thinking about how he could make them himself during “the boys” annual Canadian fishing trip! When Dad wants to recreate the recipe, you know it’s a good one. Give these Crispy Parmesan potatoes a try.
Start by cutting your potatoes in half. Toss the potatoes in olive oil and spices.
Melt the butter on your pan in the oven. Once the butter is melted, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the butter. Lay the halved potatoes face down on the Parmesan and butter.
Bake the garlic potatoes for about 45 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the Parmesan is crispy. Serve as a side or an appetizer.
I love serving these potatoes with a great protein, like salmon or chicken, and a veggie. These are also great leftover for breakfast the next day. Make a lot of these, as they won’t last long!
Tip: You can also use roasted garlic for these potatoes, rather than garlic powder. Either will work!
