Creamy Mushroom Pasta

Here’s what you’ll need to make it
- Large pot – For cooking your noodles.
- Shallow pan – Yet deep enough to make the sauce. I use my Always Pan.
- Knife
- Cutting board
- Spatula
- Cheese grater or microplane – I prefer my microplane, as I love Parmesan very finely shredded.
- Colander

Ingredients & substitutions
- Mixed mushrooms – I prefer a mix of different kinds of mushrooms, as the variety gives this sauce a really good, mushroomy flavor.
- Medium shallots
- Cloves garlic finely chopped
- Flour to thicken sauce
- Pasta of choice I used miracle noodles fettuccini
- Heavy cream
- Finely chopped parsley
- Butter
- Parmesan cheese grated
- Olive oil for cooking
- Salt and pepper to taste

How to make this creamy mushroom sauce
Step 1. Boil pasta as directed. Drain when cooked to your liking.
Step 2. To a frying pan, add your minced garlic and thinly sliced shallots. Salt and cook until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until they are almost done. Add butter and flour and stir until it begins to thicken. Lastly add your cream, turn heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3. Add pasta to the sauce and stir until pasta is completely coated.
Step 4. Plate into 4 portions. Top with grated Parmesan cheese and finely chopped parsley.
