Ingredients & substitutions
- Cracked Black pepper boursin – I love the black pepper Boursin for this recipe, because what is fettucine Alfredo withough a whole lot of black pepper?
- Fettuccini noodles – Or noodle of your choice.
- Salted Butter
- Heavy cream – You can substitute milk of your choice. I like heavy cream though, because it makes the pasta so rich and creamy.
- Garlic – I recommend using fresh garlic for this. It gives this pasta such an amazing flavor. And I have 3 cloves of garlic for this recipe, but more garlic doesn’t hurt! Measure with your heart!
- Chicken broth – Any broth will do. You can also use water, but the broth gives this pasta a really nice flavor.
- Freshly Grated Parmesan – I always feel fancier when I grate my own Parmesan. And I think it tastes better… Added bonus, its cheaper by volume when you buy a block!
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped parsley for garnish

FAQs about baked boursin pasta recipe
Use a deep dish and cover it with foil. I always add a lot of sauce and that helps prevent the dried out top layer. Take out of the oven as soon as cheese is melted and golden. It’s also important to make sure all pasta is covered with sauce.
Boursin typically keeps for about two weeks in the refrigerator after opening. However, if your Boursin is unopened, it should last up to four weeks past the sell-by date printed on the packaging (always double-check though).
Undercook Your Pasta (Really!) To avoid mushy baked pasta, seriously undercook the pasta in its boiling phase. Perry lets the pasta boil for just five minutes before draining it well and tossing it in the sauce.
