If you are looking for a nice spin on guacamole, look no further than this avocado feta salsa recipe. The bite of the feta and crunch of the pepitas, makes this salsa a nice departure from the traditional guacamole. This recipe is great on its own, eaten with tortilla chips, or as a topping for a meal. My favorite way to eat this avocado feta salsa is to top my favorite protein with it.

Avocado feta salsa is super easy to make, because all of the ingredients are fresh! Start by dicing your ripe avocado and place it in a bowl. Chop your jalapeno… I like my jalapeno in larger chunks, but you can also dice them into smaller pieces. Chop your cilantro. Toss all of the ingredients into a bowl and stir. Finish with a generous squeeze of lemon juice and salt.

This a recipe is especially good paired with salmon, in my opinion! Try it with my honey soy sauce salmon.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 avocados diced
  • 1/2 Cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 Cup crumbled feta
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup pepitas
  • 1 jalapeno sliced

Instructions
 

  • Put all ingredients in a bowl and stir. Serve with chips or as an addition to your favorite protein.
