Air Fryer Banana Split
This is a breakfast version of the viral air fryer banana split. The warm banana and sweetness of the coconut sugar and maple syrup make this recipe a cozy breakfast option. I topped mine with yogurt and granola, but the topping options are truly endless. You can top this with ice cream too, to make it a decadent dessert. Give this super versatile air fryer banana split a try. You won’t regret it.

Start by preheating your air fryer to 400 degrees. Slice your banana the long way down the center. Mix your coconut sugar and maple syrup, creating a sweet paste. Spread the paste on the banana, and place in the air fryer.

Air fry for about 6 minutes, until the top is caramelized and the peel starts pulling away from the flesh of the banana. Transfer your banana split a dish and start adding your toppings. I used cherry yogurt, wild blueberries and my baked granola recipe. Also, I choose to use wild blueberries because of the added health benefits. Learn more about this super food here.

I love this recipe because it truly is so versatile. This is a breakfast version, but you can make a dessert version as well! How fun to air fry some bananas and let the kids create their own banana split. So buy some sprinkles and chocolate chips, and get creative!
